English Walnuts

It will be quite a while, but we will eventually have English Walnuts for sale! We have eight trees, two of which produced their first nuts in 2021 (a total of 9!) and six trees that should produce a few nuts in 2022/2023. Originally known as the Persian Walnut, it was mentioned in the Code of Hammurabi and said to have been growing in the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. It picked up the name "English Walnut" as English merchants introduced the nuts across the globe.
