Treated the bees this evening for varroa mites (three hives). That is the last treatment for this year.

Mowed the orchard and the bee hive area.

My birthday is tomorrow. I will have completed 65 years of crawling about the planet. It’s been interesting. It’s been good. It’s 10:30 and I just walked out in the cool night barefoot to see the stars (and turn the barn and duck blind lights off). Then I thought there might be a coyote out there in the dark and came back in the house!

Going to bed and looking forward to year 66!
