Below is the most current layout of the 26 apple trees in the tall spindle rows.  I have now also tagged all the older trees in the orchard and will add a sheet indicating the identity of each tree.  I am working to save and renew these older trees and started trimming off the branches of other trees than shade them.

Another good weekend at home.  I love being at home and “working” about the farm.  I will have to make a plan to ensure that I can stay here when I retire and this means revisiting my spending, savings, support, and contributions behavior.  Ben was very instructive on that point and for that, I am most grateful!
